A stone outdoor kitchen built into the garden wall

Outdoor kitchens are fully functional spaces for cooking and gathering outdoors, and this one is built to be used rather than looked at. Stone runs from the house wall through the return, carrying a dark granite counter with a built-in grill, sink and refrigeration.

A timber-capped planter rail sits above the counter and is planted with herbs, so the working surfaces stay clear. Task lighting over the prep area keeps the kitchen usable after dark.
